I have to agree with you Chris, Brother are one of the more robust and reliable inkjet printers. They are very easy to operate, the software is user friendly and even better is the fact that they work perfectly with generic Printer Ink.
The printheads in the Brother printers are also a much better design than the Epson and HP printheads. They seem to be less problematic in regards to clogging etc. Our recent poll we conducted rated Brother as the second favourite choice of printer.
I have a HD-4150CDN. It has served me well for the past 2-3 years, but now prints horrible copies despite my cleaning it as directed. Can it be fixed, and where do I get it fixed. Also, the toner cartridges are outrageously expensive, more than $115 per cartridge, and they don’t last long. I come from a printing family, and my grandfather had a Kluge press that lasted him a lifetime! One shouldn’t have to buy printers over and over!
